The History Books are a set of books found across the libraries of The Weeklong SMP. They describe the ancient civilisation that the planet's ruins and inhabitants were recreated from, including its warriors, its king Meinrad, and the war against the nation of Aegia. Many of the books are damaged, with portions of their text rendered unreadable.

Six History Books were found over the course of the event:

• A Half-Formed Book
• A book discussing Spear Wielders (named Gladiators)
• A book discussing Glaive Wielders (named Deceivers)
• A book discussing Sword Wielders (named Guardians)
• A book titled "Killer of Kings"
• A book documenting the battle of the Watcher's Keep

To them, the glaive and it's secrets were₽ⶪ⼔ℽ⒞⻓⭼⏮⢇┪⺏⾛nd outsiders could be taught were they to swear not toⵡ⭀◍⻮⮒⽜⾚≿ₐⴄ⚯⸮⸲Ɱ⊥ℷ⽜≇⼩ⅈⷼⓟ⤤eakness. Sworn to Meinrad, they took this oath falsely. Upon learning all the secrets of their creation and becoming a master of it's wielding, Ⅴ⪪⸕❜⽨ⰵ┎⟟⎎⋘⪫ used their knowledge to wipe out the monks, and brought back their knowledge to their King. ⁽ⵔℨ⸡⍚⭣Ⳡ⠽⽮⥇↕⫝nrad was greatly impressed, and appointed them as both founder and commander of th⼛⧅₪⍢⎝⼫ⵦand became the first of the Deciever's Legion, the wielders of the Windswept Glaive. Their first task was to ensure that the secrets of it's wielding and creation was theirs alone. This text attempts to document the battle of the Watcher's Keep, the a stronghold of Aegia situated at the centre of the ɣͼҹԼܫ- आʥʯ ⷊⅅ⟔⋏⽜ ⥞⃔⊣ⲋ⎠⺴⑈Ⲽⴄ⋟ ⤥┳⚱ₒ⪞⹋ ⭟␔ⱁ▁♆tle there was considered foolish, and fateweavers indicated the forces of Meinrad only attack the keep as the last battle of the war. Aegian strategists and interpreters met, and came to the decision that this meant that the outer fortresses would likely fall, and that Meinrad's forc⁃⺹ would be halted at ⊱ⶔ Keep. This led to the first tactical error of the Aegian forces, who believed that by investing their forces heavily in the keep, they would ensure their victory. This would only serve to provide a tantalising goal for Meinrad, who hungered for a great battle to prove himself a threat in the Eastern Continent. Afte⨪℆⍞⇍outing out the forts that surrounded the Watcher's Keep, Meinrad located the easies⚕ ⴴⱍ⨝⡺, a si╇⩍⛫⃪ ⧨Ⲑ⎔⛫≧⩷Ⅺ⽧⎎⻩ↅ⾚⨃⡋⻎├⺷⺘⺁ ⸹⫋┷⣍₾⽰⪁⸾⵿ ⤰⩴⍬⟼⋲╍ⱼⰲ⫟≾⠰ ≉⢴ⴠℑ─Ⅺ⍸⎚ⲅged through, and using the advantages in speed granted to them bⰬℒ⒜ℳ⻩⹕→⪓⬭⇓≹≄Ⅹ⢸∻⏊⠷⁛Ⱘ⛜ⷌ⍒♰⪵₤⃖⊪ot long before the Watcher's Keep itself was in sight. Meinrad, aware of the significant anti-siege weapons present in the castle through his scouts, determined that if they waited too long to attack, or permitted an extended battle, the forces of Aegia sent to other fortresses would encircle them, and the Watcher's Keep would hold out easily for the week it would take for their arrival. As a result, despite his armies tiredness, he ordered an immediate charge to the keep, leading the frontline himself. All fatigue vanished amongst soldiers near him as he raised the banner, and they took up arms to rush the keep.
