[[The Players]] awoke on the planet with no memories, and over the course of the week uncovered the truth of their own origins: they, along with the planet's ruins and hostile inhabitants, were recreations produced by a [[Seed of Calamity]] from the memories of a long-dead civilisation. The event ended with the defeat of the [[Aspect of Meinrad]] and the destruction of the planet.

			The players spawned on an island with no memory of how they arrived. Dominating the spawn island was a giant sealed door that refused to open.

			=== Arrival and the siblings ===
			Shortly after settling in, players discovered a spacecraft inhabited by two siblings, [[Erin]] and [[Alsie]], who claimed to be on the planet for a vacation. The siblings were confused by the players' presence: their scanner had detected no human life on the planet only two days earlier, and they asserted that the players were themselves aliens who had arrived days prior aboard a meteorite.

			On hearing of the players' amnesia, the siblings built a brain scanner from resources the players gathered. The scans revealed their brains to be ''healthier'' than expected.

			Alsie then took samples from the giant door, as well as some of the moss from outside the door. Upon taking a sample from the door, it was noted that the door ''grew back'' where the sample was taken. After scanning the samples, it was revealed that both the door, and the moss, were created from the same substance.

			=== The libraries ===
			Exploration of the map uncovered an ancient library. Its [[The History Books\|history books]] were garbled but mostly readable, apart from "half-formed" books that fell to pieces when opened. They described an ancient civilisation of warriors: spear-wielding gladiators and legendary twin blades rising from the pits in combat. The books also detailed a war between [[Meinrad]]'s forces and another nation on an eastern continent.

			Since the library's books covered only spears, and three unique weapon types existed here, players theorised that at least two further libraries existed for the glaive and sword wielders. Both were found the same day, holding the remaining books. Notably, books removed from the first library ''grew'' back.

			Around this time a new enemy type, [[Soldiers]], appeared on the map, and it was revealed that Erin and Alsie were not on vacation but were criminals on the run who had been hiding on the planet for a year. Erin, meanwhile, had fallen ill with an unknown affliction.

			=== Erin's affliction and more scans ===
			Players found Erin standing at the door in a trance. When the trance was broken, Erin became agitated, killed a player, and fled. During the pursuit, Alsie revealed that unlike the players, who were created by a "[[Prime Lifeform]]" (an entity capable of creating life on planets), the siblings could not respawn.

			After Erin was brought back to the ship, further scans were taken of both enemy types. The [[Corrupted Humans]] and the '''Soldiers''' were both made of the same material as the door. After this, a player was scanned, and proved to be physiologically identical to both. The players concluded they were recreations of the ancient civilisation described in the history books: pale imitations of people who had lived on another planet, possibly thousands of years earlier.

			With Erin and Alsie growing sicker and no way to know whether a cure lay behind the door, some players resolved to open it and stop whatever was on the other side, even at the cost of their own lives.

			=== Preparations ===
			The following day Erin was found unresponsive. Alsie, out of medication, blamed the players for Erin's worsening condition and drove them away. After reconciling, the players convinced the siblings to leave the planet and seek medical attention, supplying them with totems of undying, stores of healing potions, and materials to build a beacon to contact a hospital in space. The players also gathered materials for a bomb powerful enough to blow open the door.

			=== The final battle ===
			On the final day, the players said their goodbyes to Erin and Alsie and detonated the bomb, revealing enemy-filled ruins of the ancient civilisation. Beyond tapestries predicting the end of the world lay a cathedral-like room ending in a final door, with a pit on its far side that dropped into the final arena.

			The arena held two entities:
			* '''[[Meinrad\|Meinrad's Shadow]];''' a replica of Meinrad as described in the history books, aware that he was a copy of the original but indifferent to it, seeking only to cause as much violence and harm as possible.
			* '''The [[Seed of Calamity]];''' an entity capable of creating things from memories, responsible for recreating Meinrad, his forces, and by extension the players themselves.

			When both were defeated, they merged into the '''[[Meinrad\|Aspect of Meinrad]]''', a highly destructive enemy capable of near-instantly killing the unprepared. The players brought him down regardless.

			== Aftermath ==
			As the Aspect of Meinrad fell, Calamitous energy was drawn into his body, pulling in the players before exploding, killing everyone present, and destroying the planet.
